Boundless & Local
Boundless has many meanings for us. For Zuivr, it also means that we are not limited to where a product comes from; if it fits within the Great Enjoyment that characterises Mediterranean culture, then it fits within Zuivr. In this way, a product from the north of the Netherlands can simply hit the right note.
our olive oils
Diverse & Characterful
The first product within the Zuivr label and right away it is a product that occupies a unique place within the existing landscape of olive oils. Where most Spanish olive oil comes from the south, 'ours' comes from the Spanish pre-Pyrenees, so from the cooler north.
The colder climate of northern Spain creates a completely different taste sensation; all the more because Iván, our olive producer, once again picks the olives at the beginning of the season, where other farmers wait until the end of the season.
Our olive oil comes in three varieties – Arbequina, Massanell and Negral, each with its own character – see below. And we can say: We are very proud of our first product.
Fresh-fruity with a subtle bitter note
Although the Arbequina variety is not native to the Pallars Jussà district, these olives have adapted very well with even their own unique qualities developed by the altitude and latitude of the valley.
Fruity with a light spicy note
The Massanell olives are indigenous to the region, which derive their unique qualities and special taste from the altitude and latitude of the valley.
Aromatic olive oil with a mild taste
The Negral are native olives of the region that derive their unique qualities and special taste from the altitude and latitude of the valley.

MULTIPLE AWARD OLIVE OIL PRODUCER
Iván comes from a long line of olive growers and oil producers from the Pallars Jussà district. Most of his olive trees have been there for centuries, but thanks to his boundless passion, the trees still bear fruit of extraordinary quality.
This has resulted in many international awards for its products and most recently the prestigious 'Agustí Serés in Memoriam' award for its efforts to sustainably restore barren farms with ancient indigenous olive trees.

Passion & Quality
Do tasty, sustainable and healthy go together? If it is up to Zuivr, yes, and we do everything we can to ensure that our products meet these conditions. And preferably also a little different than usual, because there is already so much of the same on the shelves.
.Tastes differ - we know that too - but the need for quality is universal and we therefore first of all ask ourselves for each product whether we would use it ourselves, based on the right ingredients, the right preparation methods and with the right 'why' story. We know all our suppliers personally and we also use all our products ourselves – without exception.

Sophisticated & Versatile
Although Zuivr originated from tasting and therefore from food products, our attention and passion is much broader than that. We have a lot of ideas about possible products that can fit within the Zuivr concept and new ideas are added every day. In addition, within this part of Zuivr we are also open to inspiring ideas from outside our community. and its unique story is just as important as their product.
